Home-Start is an organisation with a difference – and the difference is you. Home-Start volunteers are a crucial linch-pin in being able to help local families in need Home-Start is an organisation of passionate, committed people, who are ready to reach out and touch the lives of others. Home-Start people have many different skills, they have different ways of giving and different resources. But they all share a commitment to children and a belief that parents and children deserve support and friendship. You can be part of the Home-Start difference and help turn lives around. * Become a home visiting volunteer in an existing scheme * Become a family support volunteer in an existing scheme * Volunteer your administrative or computer skills to help your local scheme * Become a management committee member, and help lead existing schemes * Use your business or social entrepreneurial skills to set up a new scheme * Make a one-off or regular donation to Home-Start National or to your local scheme to help continue our work * Donate products and services to your local scheme, as raffle prizes, to be sold on our website, or for use in the office. Whatever you do, you will be part of an active network of Home-Start people, making a difference to children’s lives.
