How Do I Ask for Support from Home-Start?

All parents need a bit of help sometimes, and we can wonder why we didn't ask sooner.  Click Family Stories to read about parents who've called Home-Start.  All our services are free to parents, no matter what your situation or income is. You can ask Home-Start for help by calling 02 49529488, 0409714199 and speak to Michelle, or call your local co-ordinator. To find the co-ordinator nearest to you, click hereWe will always do our best to put you in touch with some form of help.

Families seeking help may also be introduced to Home-Start by workers in various helping agencies - eg Early Childhood nurses, Family Support Workers, Social Workers etc.
Other referrals come from schools, pre-schools, churches, doctors or the Neighbourhood Centre.

If you are referred by someone else, they normally handle the initial contact and a
Home-Start co-ordinator will contact you.

We will arrange to visit you at home. During that visit we will explain the kind of support we can offer you and give you an opportunity to ask any questions that you may have about Home-Start.

Alternatively you can email us at ceo@homestartaustralia.org and we will be happy to get back to you as quickly as possible.
