Kirstin Stevenson from Home-Start Cowra, Canowindra and Weddin , Lusi Austin and Darren Quinn whip up some tasty meals at last week's cooking demonstration.
As part of World Mental Health Day and Mental Health Week Kirstin  from Home-Start gave everyone a cooking demonstration using food available to Food Hall clients.
"Cooking for your family doesn't have to be a big affair and healthy eating really does have a big impact on your mental health," she said. "By using ingredients you can get right here at the Food Hall, it's possible to make healthy, affordable meals for your family."

The 5th Annual Canowindra Community Reading Day  provided fun opportunities for children, parents, grandparents and community members to come together to learn and practice ideas and strategies to help children on the road to lifelong literacy.

The day was held at Canowindra RSL Hall and Memorial Park, from 10am and finished with a Sausage Sizzle and fruit around 12 noon. Activities planned for the day included book readings, storytelling, face painting, music activities, art activities and prizes.

Covering Cowra, with a weekly Outreach Service to Canowindra every week
